Vanessa was last seen leaving her Winton Way home in Winton, California on Saturday, May 31, 1997, for a walk at 7:00 P.M.. Vanessa's walking stick was found along the roadside on Mercedes Avenue, appromimately 200 yards East of Winton Way.
